Can I build an AI MVP without coding skills?

Pick a builder by how much control you need. Prompt-to-app tools (Lovable, Bolt, Replit Agent) are fastest and great for early MVPs, you describe what you want and they generate it. Bubble and FlutterFlow give more control and complexity at the cost of a learning curve. Cursor sits closer to real code if you're willing to learn. For a first MVP that just needs to validate an idea, the prompt-based tools usually get you there quickest.

Scope brutally. Your MVP should test one hypothesis with the fewest possible features, often a single input, an AI step, and an output. Cut everything that isn't essential to proving people want the result: no accounts, no settings, no extra screens until the core works. Write a tight spec describing the one workflow, then have the builder generate it, and resist adding 'just one more' feature before you've shown demand.

Be realistic about limits. No-code AI MVPs are perfect for validation and early customers, but you may hit walls on complex logic, scale, cost control, or fine-grained UX, at which point you bring in a developer. Watch API costs as usage grows, and don't over-polish: an ugly MVP that proves demand beats a beautiful one nobody asked for. Build the smallest thing that lets a real user complete the core task, then learn from how they use it.
