Win on retention or you'll lose to ad costs. Design a reason to return daily or weekly: streaks, new results, saved history, or personalization that improves over time. Use push notifications sparingly but meaningfully. Watch unit economics closely in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia, where iOS CPMs are high; if customer acquisition cost exceeds a few months of subscription revenue, fix retention and organic before scaling paid.
